Producer Scott Storch has been arrested for grand theft auto in Miami for violating the lease terms of a 2004 Bentley.

The troubled entertainer posted bail shortly after he was apprehended.

Storch was arrested on Friday after authorities maintained he failed to return the Bentley when it was supposed to go back to the owner in 2008. He started leasing the pricey vehicle in February of 2006, according to MTV News.

Chicago-native Bump J was recently arrested in Carbondale, Illinois and is currently being held without bail following the connection to a bank robbery that happened over a year ago.

The robbery in question, which occurred January 4th, 2007, was done by two men (one believed to be Bump J) at a Chase Bank branch in Oakpark. Surveillance cameras show both men wielding handguns while announcing a bank robbery was in place. The two men then made off with over $100,000 in cash; no one was injured during the robbery. Police reports reveal that officers attempted to stop a 2009 Dodge Challenger for a routine traffic stop last Sunday on I-59 North at 3:30pm.

According to TMZ.com, Kanye West was arrested this morning at Los Angeles International Airport’s American Airlines terminal for vandalism. Per the report, the superstar producer and rapper attacked a photographer after West felt his privacy was violated.

West reportedly smashed the still photographer’s camera after a scuffle, an exchange which was allegedly caught by a TMZ videographer. Noticing this, West and his assistant confronted the video cameraman, demanding the tape. Read more…

Marion “Suge” Knight, co-founder of Death Row Records is in a Las Vegas jail today after he was arrested on drug and assault charges.

According to the Associated Press, Knight, 43, is accused of “beating his girlfriend while brandishing a knife.”

Multi-platinum selling rapper DMX has found himself behind bars yet again after recently being arrested for failure to appear in court.

According to the Miami Herald, the former Def Jam artist was taken in to police custody yesterday evening (August 14) in when authorities were required to abide by an Arizona warrant issued out against him. Read more…
