LL Cool J To Help Set World 'Shared' Reading Record

Hip-Hop star LL Cool J will join thousands of children during the world’s largest “shared reading experience” during Jumpstart’s he Read For The Record Campaign tomorrow (October 2) in New York City.

Tomorrow morning, LL will kick off the day on NBC’s Today Show with host Matt Lauer and the children’s classic Corduroy by Don Freeman.

LL Cool J will then head to Bank Street Head Start Center where he will visit a small group of Jumpstart pre-k students and read Corduroy to them personally, in an attempt to help set the record for the world’s largest shared reading event. Read more…
