In in this day and age this is where you have to stay active on the net as much as possible. Along with my engineer Neenah we work pretty fast with quality so I figured I’d do a series quarterly that ya’ll can try to keep up with. Its basically a 1000 bar series. I figured I’d give folks 1000 bars every quarter in a form of freestyles and sometimes over original production. So this is the start of my new series here off the “Buffalo Bill” instrumental. 52 bars where I really wasn’t keeping count but thats what it ended up being. Only 948 more bars to go. Its nothing! My name is Nino Bless. Cosigns mean a little bit too much these days
and I have quite a few but that don’t mean much to me. I got heavy
cosigns but download my mixtape on www.ninobless.com and if YOU cosign
me thats all that matters. I’m a Puerto Rican MC from Brooklyn, I’m a
taurus, and my favorite show is Heroes. I like females with long hair
as well.

Its a honor to work with any MC that I have a ton of respect for and
I’m a fan of their shit. A lot of folks in the game lose their way and
the “fan” inside of them starts to leave the more they are in this
game. I may not like a lot of stuff that’s out there but I’m still a
fan of certain dudes. Its friendly competition and its real
challenging in a sense but its all for a good cause. People have
responded and they call it the best collab in a while and etc. As for
Term … there’s no beef with the guy. “Beef” meaning we have serious
issues. The line was just a jab and nothing more. We spoke and we’re
allgood.

Well Crooked and myself are doing a tape with DJ Green Lantern. Its
dropping sometime in Jan and we’re pretty much halfway done with it.
We don’t really want to rush it at all we rather it come out the way
we want to come out than to rush it just cause. It’ll have a lot of
MC’s from all over the country on it. We’re trying to bring all the
cats together that are putting in work so we can really make this pop
off.

I should be droppin my album next year. The Mixtape’s are fun and its
great cause I can keep working on my craft and then see how certain
folks react to my music. I’m definitely not a “mixtape rapper” as some
might call it. I’m all about putting music together and if it sells it
sells. It it doesn’t just keep pushing it until you leave a mark. Many
artist are scared to do albums because they won’t do serious numbers.
I don’t care for that. I focus on quality not how many units somebody
is moving. Next year around this time you will see a album from me and
expect the best from me.

I run my own myspace for the most part. There’s nothing to run really.
I had my guy hook up a cheesy industry look which is dated by now but
its really just so people can get an idea of what it is. I don’t have
any particular favorite blogs or sites. As far as the internet its a
gift and a curse cause without the net I wouldn’t have a leg to stand
on in this game. The net’s created a outlet for MC’s who dont have
support from DJ’s so now we basically go directly to the source which
is the fans. Legit MC’s don’t need anybody to connect us to the fans
thanks to you guys. On another hand there’s a lot of bullshit out
there cause anybody can start their own blog or voice their opinion
about anything. I like to take in other opinions but some folks dont
know what they are talking about and honestly have their own taste.
These bloggers who only support their type of flavor are bias in a
sense and they think they know what “true” music is at the end and
sometimes that looks corny to me. Also the undercover rappers or
industry people who leave comments like they’re other people and hate
on folks is corny. That part of the game sucks cause you don’t know
who’s saying these things and you can pretty much type anybody else’s
name. I can’t wait for the moment in which the internet develops and
when you leave a comment your real name is posted, address, phone
number and etc. You’ll see how much things change after that.

The Hip-Hop Journalism Association is managing the Hip-Hop for Hounds Program, a new project under the Humane Society of the US. The campaign intends to end illegal dogfigthing and other related animal cruelty activities. HHJA is now accepting pledges in the form of free or reduced ad-space donation. On June 24th, Immortal Technique not only released his The 3rd World album, he also announced his pledge to build an orphanage and clinic in Kabul, Afghanistan. This “Project Green Light” is a partnership effort with the Non-Profit Human Rights Organization called Omeid International. The orphanage/clinic, which will be called The Amin Institute, will also have a schooling sector teaching grades K through 5.
