Five victims of a 2006 Gainesville, Florida shooting are suing rapper Plies, along with his record label.

According to the Miami Herald, the suit, which was filed on Wednesday (March 3) in Alachua County Circuit Court, claims that Plies and his label have profited from the victims’ suffering.

Plies was previously sued over the incident, in which members of his entourage allegedly fired into a sold-out crowd.

The rapper’s brother, Ronell Lavatte, and a member of the entourage, Tory Carnegie, are said to have fired into the crowd. The two were charged with attempted murder. Levatte served three years in prison after pleading no contest to weapons charges.

On Tuesday night, Young Jeezy and his Mob Squad lit up Madison Square Garden during the Blueprint 3 Tour stop.

“It’s not a rap concert; it’s a show,” Jeezy said just hours before the performance. “Me and Jay sat down and talked about it. That was the whole thing: ‘Let’s give them a concert, not just a rap show.’ It’s been working out that way. From start to finish, it’s a whole show. Trey [Songz], me, Jay — from start to finish, it flows. It’s kinda crazy, ’cause we got the same type of fans. It’s not awkward. You could be on tour with somebody, you see Jeezy and Black Eyed Peas, it’s like, ‘What the hell?’ “

Young just put out the first record from his Thug Motivation 103 album, “Lose My Mind.” The record features Plies and debuted in a live performance Saturday during the Blueprint 3 Tour stop in Atlanta.

Ronelle “Big Gates” Levatte, manager/brother of rapper Plies, has responded to rumors that his younger brother was incarcerated after a show in Atlanta last week.

According to reports, Plies born Algernod Washington, was allegedly arrested by federal agents after a performance at the Hot 107.9’s Jingle Bash.

The show, which took place on December 26th, featured performances by Lil Wayne, Keri Hilson, Soulja Boy and Trey Songz.

In an exclusive statement to AllHipHop.com, Big Gates, also founder and co-owner of Plies’ label Big Gates Records, claimed an unknown person called the police on Plies prior to his performance.

“Enemies of my little brother Plies contacted police in a failed attempt to have him arrested prior to his performance in Atlanta,” Big Gates told AllHipHop.com. “Plies was not detained Nor arrested.”

Big Gates said that Plies is not in the custody of federal agents.

The rapper recently shot a video for “Medicine” featuring Keri Hilson in addition to preparing material for his upcoming album, Goon Affiliated, which is due in stores in Spring 2010.

Miami rapper Plies was in the giving mood the day after Christmas Jingle Bash concert. He was on stage when he brought up a high school senior at the Birthday Bash concert.

Plies stated “He caught alot of slack from his family for throwing away 50,000 into the crowd. Sources tell Freshandfly.com they personally walked away with over 1,000 in cash from plies efforts last summer. Plies stated he felt an obligation to do something more positive with the money this Christmas
