In a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times, Wu-Tang Clan Abbott the RZA shed some new light on his directorial debut, the Kung-Fu flick, The Man With The Iron Fist. The movie, written and to be directed by Robert Diggs and produced by Eli Roth (Hostel), which sees the musical mastermind utilize his vast creativity for the silver screen has secured financially backing, but it is unclear as to when production will actually commence. One of Los Angeles’ premier gathering for socially conscious music and people commences on September 25, with the highly popular We the People Festival.
The forward-thinking event focuses on advocating “non-partisan, non-violent, environmental, and politically conscious views as established through music and dialogue.”
